I do not understand young men. I just do not understand how their minds work. When Romeo came to my cell he asked me to secretly wed him and the Capulet named Juliet. Just a day ago he would never shut his mouth about how Rosaline is the most beautiful girl he has even seen. I do not think young Romeo understands the meaning of love. I may not have much experience with love, but I do understand that you must not mistake lust for love. Romeo only sees beauty on the outside and never seeks for the beauty in the inside. I fear that if I wed Romeo and Juliet, their love for each other may shatter apart and all the trouble for this secret wedding would have been for nothing. One day in the future, I fear Romeo may even abandon Juliet and find another woman. It is a sin for a man or a woman to sleep with another when they already have a spouse. But what am I saying? I am Romeo's mentor! I will lead him in the correct path.
As much as I disagree with this idea, I must wed them. This wedding may be able to bring the Montagues and Capulets together and finally end their ridiculous feud.
